Yes it is true; a Brazilian inventor Joco Paulo Lammoglia has developed an iPhone charger which is powered by minute turbines which work on the AIRE technology. It uses the energy dissipated by the wind i.e. the air exhaled by the humans is utilized to charge iPhone and mp3 players. The device consists of minute turbines which work due to displacement of air. When exhaled air passes through those nano turbines, wind energy is converted to electrical energy. This is an entirely all time renewable energy source as communicated by the inventor.

The Rio De Janeiro based inventor also disclosed about his intention of creating eco devices which prove beneficial for the race. When asked about what additional benefits this gadget can offer the Brazilian answered that it can be used while reading, walking, exercising and several other situations where we exhale good amounts of air. Although it is still not clear whether the gadget’s charging capacity increases or decreases while different breathing conditions. The intention was to significantly reduce the carbon blueprint in terms of iPhone charging. If this device catches up with the imagination of consumers the inventor may go in for more devices which prove evident in this race for cleaner energy consumption. This breathe powered charger has bilateral benefits firstly it saves energy, secondly it preserves the environment.

Although it claimed that it would encourage customers to push in hard for physical exercises it was obscure whether the machine would charge an iPhone quickly during exercise and slow it down amid sleep.
