iPhone Applications Affordable Over Their Android Counterparts

iPhone Applications Affordable Over Their Android Counterparts
A latest research has unveiled that Apple iOS is offering fairly priced mobile applications in comparison to their nearest competitor i.e. Android. This research was concluded in Feb 2012. These prices were subject to consideration in terms of the paid applications. It was noticed that Apple’s App store offered a very genuine price for its paid application whereas Android market is charging very high for its paid apps. It was found that for the best 100 paid Android apps you would have to pay almost $375 at the same time for best 100 iPhone apps you just pay around $150, well that is too much to be honest.
Although the most downloaded apps still remain to be the free apps. This price disparity is not an cumulative effect of the top apps but the effect can be seen even if top 20 or top 50 paid apps are taken as sample size. A probable reason behind Android doing so is to get their application in the top at the android market. Although because the download rate at android market is not as much as the apple store hence they charge relatively high to get better profits just to compensate for the lack in volumes.
Both of these are depository for a gamut of mobile applications but both have fairly different atmosphere within them. The android application development market is playing high in price war because it believes, high prices would make it more attractive and users would go for paid applications besides the free applications. The app store although is home to brilliant and intelligent apps at the same time android market is a breeding ground for snazzy apps. The appstore is more safe and high on reliability in terms of content while android market is low on reliability factor. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that appstore is tightly monitored and android market is let loose.  That is why the apps which prove blockbusters in appstore may not necessarily prove to be so on android markets.
Although the total number of android devices is much more than the iOS devices the download rate at appstore is still ahead from that of android market but it is just a matter of time that android applications surge ahead from their nearest counterparts. Due to worldwide competition from iPhone application development companies the fight is still on, globally developers are encouraging the development of useful and utilitarian applications which facilitate the download rate of iphone applications. Although the appstore offers applications at a very promising price i.e. $0.99 and due to that the total price of top best iphone applications is less than half the prices of the total top best applications of android.
However the iPhone application development is very promising no matter the android main surmount the downloads in near future but the quality and utility of iPhone applications will remain intact.
